Cinespia Cemetery Screenings
Last year, we told you what to wear to Cinespia, an annual summer movie screening event held every Saturday at the Hollywood Cemetery. The screenings are back on so we jumped right back into the swing of things to watch Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train.
If you've never been before, here's the simple break down of how these things go down (as recommended by the folks behind Cinespia)
- Get directions to cemetery screenings
- Bring a picnic dinner and drinks (alcohol is allowed!!)
- Park on cemetery grounds ($10---worth it)
- DJs spin before and after the screenings
- Bring your favorite pillows and blankets
- Sorry no tall chairs and no dogs :(
- NO BBQ
- **Bring a date or go with a group of your favorite people (PB added rule!)
Upcoming screenings this month include...Silence of the Lambs, Sabrina, and Grease.
The PB fam is planning on showing up for Sabrina on May 26th, so we'll see you all there!
Our girls at the Santa Monica store are crazy for Mendocino Farms Sandwich Market!
The fast-casual restaurant owned by Mario Del Pero and Ellen Chen focuses on fresh and seasonal ingredients thrown into their menu of sandwiches, salads and soups.
"I get the Roasted Chicken Prosciutto sandwich--chicken, mozzarella cheese, roasted peanuts, and balsamic vinegar on a ciabatta roll. Seriously AMAZING. The best part is that they are SO nice there and they make their own soda! The root beer is the best thing you have ever tasted!! So far, this mini chain restaurant has only four locations...two spots in Downtown LA, Marina Del Rey and the new West Hollywood shop!
